Burgundy - 3 mm - Bamboo Twisted Cord

This is our Bamboo rope made out of 100% real bamboo. This bamboo rope has a thickness of 3 mm and has a slight shimmery, metallic look. It's often used for (micro-) macramé, weaving projects, bead crochet (bead work), kumihimo, home decor and jewelry.

This soft, 2-strand rope is easy to untwist and comb out, and can be used as a finishing touch for all kinds of projects. The rope is made by skinning and cutting the bamboo into smaller strips, which are smashed into pulp. After this the pulp is made into fibers which are then spun to create this lightweight string. Due to environmentally-friendly production processes of bamboo, this cord is a green choice.
